Norwegian Army Lt. Col Andreas Braset, chief chaplain with Norwegian Joint Headquarters provides prayer during religious service at Bardufoss, Norway, Feb. 29, 2024. Military service members from Norway, Germany, Finland, Great Britain and the United States attended the religious service provided by chaplains from multiple NATO nations. The chaplains gathered prior to the start of the exercise to become acquainted with each other and to pray for safety for those participating in Nordic Response. Nordic Response 24 is a Norwegian national readiness and defense exercise designed to enhance military capabilities and allied cooperation in a challenging arctic environment.
