U.S. Navy Capt. Robert Moore, force chaplain with II Marine Expeditionary Force provides religious service prior to the start of exercise Nordic Response 24 at Bardufoss, Norway, Feb. 29, 2024. Military service members from Norway, Germany, Finland, Great Britain and the United States attend religious service provided by chaplains from multiple NATO nations. The chaplains gathered prior to the start of the exercise to become acquainted with each other and to pray for safety for those participating in Nordic Response24. Nordic Response 24 is a Norwegian national readiness and defense exercise designed to enhance military capabilities and allied cooperation in a challenging arctic environment.
