    III Marine Expeditionary Force   

    A group of students who attend Ban Kuad Nam Man School gather around U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Cuong V. Cao, center, before a game of badminton during their lunch break Jan. 24 at Chat Trakarn District, Phitsanulok province, Kingdom of Thailand. Royal Thai soldiers with 302nd Engineer Battalion, Royal Thai Army, and U.S. Marines with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, are constructing a new building during an ongoing engineering civic assistance project at the school as part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013. Similar structures are being built at four other schools within two other provinces. Cobra Gold, in its 32nd iteration, is a multinational exercise that promotes regional prosperity, security and cooperation among partner militaries. Cao is a combat engineer with 9th ESB.
