A group of students who attend Ban Kuad Nam Man School and U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Cuong V. Cao, back center, play badminton during their lunch break Jan. 24 at Chat Trakarn District, Phitsanulok province, Kingdom of Thailand. Royal Thai soldiers with 302nd Engineer Battalion, Royal Thai Army and U.S. Marines with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, are constructing a new building during an ongoing engineering civic assistance project at the school part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013. Similar structures are being built at four other schools within two other provinces. U.S. involvement in CG 13 demonstrates commitment to building military-to-military interoperability with participating nations and to supporting peace and stability in the region. Cao is a combat engineer with 9th ESB.
