CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.
Craig Kindlin, chief, Environmental Management Division, Letterkenny Army Depot, releases a small covey of quail in the Bobwhite Quail Focus Area during a trial run two weeks before the official release of the extirpated bird species.
Army environmental personnel, the PGC and other state wildlife agencies procured the quail from Fort Barfoot and Fort Knox, located in Virginia and Kentucky, respectively.
