CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.
Michael Mione, a transportation management specialist assigned to the Directorate of Supply and Transportation at Letterkenny Army Depot, coordinates freight transportation, manages parcel documents and closes out transportation control numbers.
With over 14 years of service as a Pennsylvania Air Guardsman in the 201st RED HORSE Squadron, Mione brings a wealth of experience to LEAD.
Throughout his service, Mione deployed to various locations and led infrastructure efforts around the world, including the construction of houses for homeless veterans in Oklahoma. He also oversaw the creation of hospitals in Guatemala and El Salvador in support of Beyond the Horizon, an annual humanitarian and civic assistance exercise sponsored by the U.S. Southern Command.
