Connecticut Army National Guard Maj. Andrew Maher, commander of Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment, renders a hand salute during a welcome home ceremony held inside the Governor William A. The unit conducted tactical air movements throughout their assigned areas of responsibility and provided critical medical evacuation support in Syria and Jordan.
