Staff Sgt. Nicholas Carone, 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, makes adjustments to a locking mechanism on a hydraulic tripod jack under a KC-135 Stratotanker Feb. 5, 2013, at an air base in southwest Europe. Jacks allow maintainers to conduct tests involving raising and lowering the aircraft's landing gear.
