Donahue, a Philadelphia native, provides remarks during a ceremony for the 2024 Heroes of Military Medicine at the Washington National Cathedral. Donahue was recognized as a Navy honoree for his work as the trauma medical director at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, where he helped to spearhead the initiative to upgrade the military treatment facility to a Level II Trauma Center, the highest designation in the Navy.
