Lyle Milliman, commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, for work they're doing on replacing the gudgeon pins at the Black Rock Lock, operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, Buffalo, New York, April 15, 2024. The pins sit in the hinge of the lock gates, facilitating the opening and closing, and needed replaced after a routine inspection found they were faulty and are replaced by the Soo Locks team who brought expertise and all necessary tools to do the work over two weeks.
