Kasey Cockefair, veterinarian, and officer-in-charge of the new Naval Station Guantanamo Bay Veterinary Treatment Facility, stands in the operating room after a giving a tour, May 13. The facility, funded by Defense Health Agency and built in coordination with Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, opened May 16.
Cockefair, an Orlando, Fla. native, belongs to Veterinary Readiness Activity, Fort Eisenhower, Augusta, Ga.
Naval Station Guantanamo Bay Veterinary Treatment Facility offers comprehensive veterinary services for all on-site Military Working Dogs, service animals, and pets.
