The breakfast, featuring avocados from Peru, was prepared by Culinary Specialists and attended by the Peruvian Ambassador to the UN, Victor Garcia Toma, and Minister Counsellor Luis Felipe Llosa, as well as Xavier Equihua, president, Peruvian Avocado Commission, and Giuseppe and Mario Lanzone, owners, Peruvian Brothers restaurant and food truck. Fleet Week New York 2024, taking place May 22-28, marks the 36th year of the city's celebration of the sea services. Approximately 2,300 Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guard personnel are participating.
