(May 22, 2024) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Christopher Davis, assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21), scans a surface contact during sea and anchor detail as New York departs for deployment, May 22, 2024. New York is underway in the Atlantic Ocean as part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group (WSP ARG)-24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Special Operations Capable (SOC) in support of U.S. and Allied economic, security, and defense interests.
