A sand fox, or Rüppell's fox, is trapped at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, May 30, 2024. The desert fox is typically a nocturnal species and a scavenger, gravitating to dumpsters and water run-offs throughout the night. As a result of their growing population, the 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron entomology team has started a relocation program to move the wild animals outside of the installation.
