U.S. Air Force entomology technicians relocate a sand fox, or Rüppell's fox, at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, May 30, 2024. Like other wild animals, the sand fox is a carrier of diseases and host to parasites. The 379th ECES entomology team is proactively approaching the issue by catching and relocating the fox population away from service members. (U.S. Air Force photo)
