The U.S. Air Force entomology senior enlisted leader assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron observes a trapped sand fox, or Rüppell's fox, at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, May 30, 2024. The sand fox, like other wild animals, are carriers of diseases and hosts to parasites.
