The U.S. Air Force entomology senior enlisted leader assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron observes a trapped sand fox, or Rüppell's fox, at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, May 30, 2024. The sand fox, like other wild animals, are carriers of diseases and hosts to parasites. The 379th ECES entomology team is taking a proactive approach to the issue by catching and relocating the fox population away from service members. (U.S. Air Force photo)
