    Navy Closure Task Force - Red Hill

    HALAWA, Hawaii (June 28, 2024) A Navy Closure Task Force-Red Hill (NCTF-RH) contractor empties a bucket of sludge from fuel tank 8 into a 55-gallon drum at the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility (RHBFSF) in Halawa, Hawaii, June 28, 2024. About 25 gallons were removed from the tank. Charged with the safe decommissioning of the RHBFSF, NCTF-RH was established by the Department of the Navy as a commitment to the community and the environment.
