U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Neil Blakeslee and Staff Sgt Nick Jenkins, weapons loaders with the 142nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS), cross-check the security of the munition on the rail of an F-15 for the Weapons Load Crew of the Year Competition at Portland Air National Guard Base, Portland, Ore., on Aug. 4, 2024. The 142nd AMXS held their annual competition where two teams were given thirty-four minutes to load munitions onto an F-15. The teams were judged on speed, accuracy, and safety.
