U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Neil Blakeslee, a weapons loader with the 142nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS), goes over a safety checklist during the Weapons Load Crew of the Year Competition at Portland Air National Guard Base, Portland, Ore., on Aug. 4, 2024. The 142nd AMXS held their annual competition where two teams were given thirty-four minutes to load munitions onto an F-15. The teams were judged on speed, accuracy, and safety.
