U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Neil Blakeslee, Staff Sgt. Nick Jenkins, and Senior Airman Parker Mayhew, weapons loaders with the 142nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS), raise the coveted Sasquatch, “Hoki” in victory during the Weapons Load Crew of the Year Competition at Portland Air National Guard Base, Portland, Ore., on Aug. 4, 2024. The 142nd AMXS held their annual competition where two teams were given thirty-four minutes to load munitions onto an F-15. The teams were judged on speed, accuracy, and safety. This year, U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Dan McCrosky, the weapons standardization superintendent for the 142nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, lauded the award to Tech. Sgt.
