U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, III Armored Corps perform deadlifts as part of the Deathstar Challenge on Fort Cavazos, Texas, Aug. 16, 2024. The Deathstar Challenge was created by the Signal Intelligence and Sustainment Company (SISCO) to promote comradery within the battalion and increase overall physical fitness amongst III Armored Corps soldiers. The challenge consists of eight events; Pull-ups, Litter Carries, Tire Flips, Deadlifts, Relay Runs, 2-person Wheelbarrows, modified Sprint-Drag and Fireman Carries, each one focusing on a different muscle group for overall fitness assessment.
