U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, III Armored Corps perform deadlifts as part of the Deathstar Challenge on Fort Cavazos, Texas, Aug. 16, 2024. The Deathstar Challenge was created by the Signal Intelligence and Sustainment Company (SISCO) to promote comradery within the battalion and increase overall physical fitness amongst III Armored Corps soldiers. The Soldiers had to complete as many repetitions as possible of 140-pound deadlifts for two minutes. The challenge built comradery within the battalion, increased physical fitness, and promoted healthy competition amongst the Soldiers. (U.S. Army photo by Pfc. Ariana Smith)
