U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Trevor Little, an operations advisor with 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade (2SFAB), and U.S. Army Sgt. Nicholas Macia, a civil affairs medic with U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF), watch as Mauritanian Army soldiers conduct dismounted maneuver exercises during a four-week training event in Nouakchott, Mauritania, Aug. 20, 2024. Running from July 24 - Aug. 22, 2024, the training brings together Mauritanian Army soldiers, 2SFAB advisors, and SETAF-AF civil affairs Soldiers for the first time in history to conduct a variety of training including combat casualty care, maneuver tactics, techniques, and procedures, maintenance operations, and large-scale combat operations planning.
