U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Trevor Little, an operations advisor with 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade, gives a thumbs up to Mauritanian Army soldiers as they conduct a simulated combat casualty care scenario during dismounted maneuver exercises, as part of a four-week training event in Nouakchott, Mauritania, Aug. 20, 2024. Running from July 24 - Aug. 22, 2024, the training brings together Mauritanian Army soldiers, U.S. Army advisors, and U.S. Army Civil Affairs soldiers from Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) for the first time in history to conduct a variety of training including combat casualty care, maneuver tactics, techniques, and procedures, maintenance operations, and large-scale combat operations planning. The training is designed to enhance partnerships and relationships between U.S. and Mauritanian armed forces. (U.S. Army photo by Maj. Richard Dickson)
