SEAP intern Rhenna Solberg, works on a ventilation damper solenoid with Malcolm Holman, head of the Facility Operations for Electrical Branch in the Model Shop in West Bethesda, Md., Aug. 8, 2024. Solberg is a senior at Wheaton High School in Silver Spring, Md. and worked at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division this summer as a Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program intern. Carderock fosters a fun, one-of-a-kind work atmosphere where brilliant minds can flourish and push the limits of the possible. Carderock also houses some of the nation's most advanced facilities for research, development, testing, and evaluation.
