Togolese Army Col. Manzama-Esso Kilimou, Chief of Army staff, speaks during the 2024 African Land Forces Colloquium (ALFC) hosted by the U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) at Padova, Italy, Sept. 11, 2024. ALFC 2024 brings military and civilian experts together to discuss the theme, “Integrated Approaches to Regional Security in Africa.” ALFC is an annual forum, planned and executed by SETAF-AF, for senior leaders from land forces across Africa, the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of State, and other partners to solidify relationships, exchange information and encourage cooperation in addressing challenges.
