Ford (CVN 78), inspect a diesel fuel filter on an Emergency Breathing Air Compressor (EBACS) machine during routine maintenance in the hangar bay, Sep. 23, 2024. Gerald R. Ford is the flagship of the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group. The aircraft carrier is underway in the Atlantic Ocean to further develop core unit capabilities.
