U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Alejandro Palos, an aviation electronics technician with Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Detachment Iwakuni and a native of Texas, is read the warrant for his Impact Iwakuni award by U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Jody Armentrout, the Sergeant Major of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Sept. 19, 2024. The Impact Iwakuni award is presented monthly to recipients that make a significant positive impact on the community, and AT2 Palos won the award for over 750 hours of volunteer service and multiple other volunteer efforts.
