Airmen with the 26th Special Tactics Squadron participate in a realistic joint exercise alongside Green Berets assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Sept. 12-15, 2024 near Colorado Springs, Colo. The training was a chance for joint Special Operations Forces (SOF) to increase interoperability while honing operational skillsets. Also present during the training were U.S. Air Force Academy cadets who had the opportunity to participate in operational planning with SOF and observed mission execution. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
