PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (Sept. 27, 2024) – Rows of custom eucalyptus wooden vessels and accompanying chief petty officer combination caps await the pinning of their sailor. Ten Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility Sailors were promoted to chief petty officer during a ceremony held on the lawn of historic building 1 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Sept. 27, 2024.
