Gunnery Sgt. Jeremy King, an engineer equipment chief with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, Alpha Company, and a 31-year-old native of Corinth, Miss., throws a Marine to the ground to simulate the proper course of action in an emergency situation, Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 on Range 202, here. The Marines conducted several practice runs before training with live grenades. Grenade training is essential for mission readiness. “I think it was a great training evolution,” said King. “The Marines gained some confidence with the grenades and are well prepared.” The company is set to deploy later this year.
