The Marines conducted several practice runs before training with live grenades. Grenade training is essential for mission readiness. “Every Marine needs to know how to properly deploy a grenade so they don’t cause harm to themselves or other Marines around them while deployed,” said Weber. The company is set to deploy later this year.
