    Royal Thai Marine Corps Sgt. Satawat Muangkam, right, and U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Dillan W. Smith share locally grown Thai fruit during exercise Cobra Gold 2013 Feb. 16 at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. The Thai and U.S. Marines were aligned based upon military occupational specialty to conduct bilateral training together and learn each other’s best practices during Cobra Gold. Muangkam is a gunner for the 81mm mortar section, 3rd Battalion, 1st Infantry, Royal Thai Marines, and Smith is a mortarman with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, which is attached to 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, as part of the Marine Corps’ unit deployment program.
