Royal Thai Marine Corps Sgt. Pairoj Prasarnsai touches the head of a cobra during a jungle survival class part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013 Feb. 16 at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. The Royal Thai Marines and their U.S. Marine counterparts conducted the survival training to maintain readiness and increase interoperability between the participating military forces. This year marks the 180th year of the strong Thai-U.S. relationship and demonstrates both nations’ commitment to maintaining and developing prosperity and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
