Royal Thai Marine Corps Pvt. Tawatchai Younyong builds a fire during a jungle survival class part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013 Feb. 16 at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. U.S. and Thai Marines conducted the jungle survival training to maintain readiness and increase interoperability between participating military forces. This year marks the 180th year of the strong Thai-U.S. relationship and demonstrates both nations’ commitment to maintaining and developing prosperity and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
