North Carolina National Guard Recruiting and Retention Detachment IV, Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP), Detachment IV, Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) cadre member and 2nd Platoon advisor, Army Staff Sgt. Christopher Dethmers, moves tactically during a simulated fire fight with an opposing force during platoon react to contact training at the Camp Butner National Guard Training Center, here Feb. 23 and 24. Sixty-five soldiers participated in the training in order to learn common soldier tasks and develop leadership skills in preparation for army basic combat training.
