Lt. Gen. Steven W. Gilland, superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and senior mission commander for U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hamilton, visited the installation Nov. 15, which serves as the only active-duty Army installation in the New York City area.
Gilland talks to Trevor Loew, Hamilton's Morale Welfare and Recreation director, recognizing the Child and Youth Services staff and Child Development Center for achieving a near-perfect score on a recent Army Higher Headquarters Inspection (AAHI) from the Installation Management Command.
