Lt. Gen. Steven W. Gilland, superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and senior mission commander for Fort Hamilton, visited New York City's only active-duty Army post Nov. 15. Gilland recognized Child and Youth Services staff and Child Development Center personnel for achieving a near-perfect score on a recent Army headquarters inspection.
