Mr. Tobin Rowland, Chief of the Insectary Core, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), shows members of the Community Advisory Board (CAB) some Aedes aegypti mosquitoes during a tour of the Insectary at WRAIR in Silver Spring, Maryland, December 6, 2024. The CAB toured WRAIR to learn more about WRAIR’s Clinical Trials Center, Insectary, and Pilot Bioproduction Facility. The CAB provides the community with direct input into WRAIR’s infectious disease research, and helps build relationships between WRAIR and local communities.
