Dennis Roach, director of the North Carolina Soldier's and Airman's Assistance Fund, speaks about a new license plate to help generate donations towards military families at North Carolina National Guard Joint Force Headquarters here, March 1. The SAAF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2004 with the mission of providing financial support to Army and Air Guard families coping with unusual or unpreventable hardships. The license plate, entitled, "In God we trust," donates $20 of the $30 annual fee directly to the SAAF in order to continue to support N.C. Army and Air Guard families.
