Norfolk Naval Shipyard Woodcraft Shop (Shop 64) Woodcrafter Glenn Branchaud has worked in the cabinet shop for approximately nine years. “I heard the shipyard was hiring woodcrafters. I had ran a cabinetry shop and thought working for the shipyard would allow me to receive benefits that I wasn’t getting at the time,” said Branchaud. “When I first came through the door, I didn’t miss a beat because I could run every machine in the shop. I felt like I was an immediate asset to Shop 64. It felt good.”
