Five U.S. Fish and Wildlife service biologists took part in the daylong event to collect data across Fort Bliss in an effort to support the Sikes Act. The Sikes Act is a United States law enacted in 1960 that requires cooperation between the Department of Defense and state agencies for the planning, development, and maintenance of fish and wildlife resources on military reservations across the country.
