A U.S. Army Soldier with U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), holds a book explaining the first annual ‘Lions Legacy Santa’s boot camp’ story at Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, Dec. 13, 2024. SETAF-AF increases resiliency and team cohesion through events such as the Lion’s Legacy series. Lions Legacy is designed to enhance unit cohesion and teamwork through a series of physical challenges. SETAF-AF directs and supports all U.S. Army activities with partner land forces in Africa, including conducting and supporting exercises and training events, security force assistance, and events like the Lions Legacy series.
