Daniel Cederman, deputy commanding general, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), talks about teamwork and unit cohesion after the first Lions Legacy Santa Boot Camp at Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, on Dec. 13, 2024. SETAF-AF exercises and events enable readiness by offering opportunities to learn, train and work together to resolve real-world problem-sets. SETAF-AF directs and supports all U.S. Army activities with partner land forces in Africa, including conducting and supporting exercises and training events, security force assistance, and events like the Lions Legacy series.
