U.S. Army Soldiers from U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), race each other to eat cookies and drink milk during the first annual ‘Lions’ Legacy Santa’s boot camp’ at Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, on Dec. 13, 2024. Lions Legacy is designed to enhance unit cohesion and teamwork through a series of physical challenges. SETAF-AF directs and supports all U.S. Army activities with partner land forces in Africa, including conducting and supporting exercises and training events, security force assistance, and events like the Lions Legacy series.
