A Soldier with the Uganda People's Defence Force overtakes a rope obstacle during a practice run before a squad competition at Forward Operating Location Kasenyi, Uganda, April 1. The soldiers are training with members of the 1st Battalion, 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, deployed from Ft. Myer, Va. The squad competition gave UPDF soldiers an opportunity to showcase the skills they have learned in the 16-week course.
