PHILIPPINE SEA (Jan. 15, 2025) Culinary Specialist 1st Class Douglas Conrad, Security Force Basic (SRF-B) Instructor, shows Yeoman 1st Class Wesley MaGee how to carry a standard sidearm during a drill aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) while operating in the Philippine Sea, January 15. Conrad instructed two other SFR-B classes prior while on Benfold. Benfold is forward deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s Largest DESRON and U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
