U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Meliza Molina-Choque, a canvassing recruiter with Recruiting Station Frederick, Maryland, is promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant in Rockville, Md. Feb. 19, 2025. Molina-Choque was pinned by the 39th Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, Gen. Eric M. Smith. As part of General Smith’s visit to the Recruiting Substation, he recognized the Marines for their successes and spoke about the future of the recruiter’s role in an evolving Marine Corps.
