U.S. Army Sgt. Eva Gomez, a health care specialist assigned to the 204th Medical Company Area Support, applies moulage to simulate a casualty in preparation for a base defense exercise at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Feb. 7, 2025. Moulage is used in casualty care training to create realistic injuries on simulated patients, allowing emergency response teams involved in Coalition operations to practice assessment, treatment, and emergency response skills for real-world situations.
