Lt. Alexander Miller, Expeditionary Medical Facility 150 Alpha’s En Route Care Course Instructor, presents certificates to physicians and nurses who attended Phase 1 of Hospital Militar’s en route care training with Navy Capt. Ross Basford, EMF-Alpha Commanding Officer, and Lt. Cmdr. Kara Ballas, Mission Commander, at Hospital Militar, Tegucigalpa, Honduras, on Feb. 6, 2025. Thirteen nurses and 14 physicians received instruction and hands-on practice in en route care basics, aviation safety, and patient packaging. For 250 years, Navy Medicine has navigated the globe, actively rendering assistance to our warfighters by keeping them healthy and sustaining their readiness requirements to stay in the fight.
